The World's Fastest Indian

This is the extraordinary story of Burt Munro from Invercargill, New Zealand.  After spending most of his life patiently tuning and tweaking his Indian motorcycle, Burt heads off with his Indian Scout to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah to get an official timed run of his highly modified Indian.

What we particularly enjoyed about 'The World's fastest Indian':

• The look on Burt's face when he's lying on the salt at the end
• Burt Munro's lawn maintenance technique
• The spirit of adventure that most motorcyclists could relate to
• It's a true story (abbreviated and condensed for the movie)
• Burt's beach race with the hooligans

We took a survey of 4-bike staff as to how many of them got misty-eyed toward the end of this movie. 80% of them were moved in ways that men don't normally admit and the the other 20% lied. Here's the trailer for 'the World's Fastest Indian':
